Healthy Banana Smoothie Recipes

Banana smoothies are delicious, naturally thick and has a milkshake consistency. Yummy! That does not mean unhealthy. If you prefer, you can substitute soy milk or almond milk cow. It is also preferable to use ripe bananas, so if your bananas are ripe to throw in the blender for a healthy smoothie. These smoothies are super easy to make. Enjoy!

A Banana Smoothie

ingredients:

1 c. milk
1 banana, sliced
1/2 c. vanilla extract
2 ice cubes

Itinerary:

Add the milk, banana, vanilla and ice in a blender together. Cover and blend until smooth about 30 seconds. If your blender does not crush ice can crush yourself putting it in a freezer bag and hit with a mallet. This is best done on a cutting board and not on the counter! Add crushed ice and stir. This recipe is for one serving.

Two Banana Smoothie

ingredients:

2 bananas, sliced
1 c. natural yoghurt
1 c. orange juice
4 c. honey

Itinerary:
Place all ingredients in blender (you can also use a food processor). Mix until smooth. Since you did not add ice to the smoothie, add some ice cubes in your glass or smoothie place in the refrigerator to chill. This recipe makes 2 servings.
